THE Philippines Embassy in Singapore welcomed a delegation from the Department of Health (DOH), led by Secretary Teodoro Herbosa, from 18th to 20th March 2024. Secretary Herbosa’s visit aimed to strengthen health cooperation between the Philippines and Singapore.
During his visit, Secretary Herbosa met with Singapore’s Minister of Health, Ong Ye Kung, to discuss collaboration in the health sector. The visit included briefings and visits to Singapore’s public health institutions, including polyclinics, facilitated by Singapore’s Ministry of Health.
Secretary Herbosa also served as the Keynote Speaker at the 2024 Bloomberg Initiative to Reduce Tobacco Use Partner Meeting in Singapore on 20th March 2024. Additionally, Philippine Ambassador Medardo G. Macaraig hosted a dinner for Secretary Herbosa and his delegation on 18th March 2024 at the Official Residence.
