In their first meeting since President Tharman’s assumption, both leaders reaffirmed strong Philippines-Singapore relations.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. had a bilateral meeting with Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam earlier today at the Istana.
This meeting marks the first encounter between President Marcos and President Tharman since the latter took office as Head of State of the Republic of Singapore in September last year.
During the meeting, both Presidents reaffirmed the excellent relations between the Philippines and Singapore, emphasizing the ongoing cooperation and mutual respect between the two nations.
