MAKKAH, Saudi Arabia – The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has reported a significant influx of visitors. Over 60 million people visited the two sacred sites in Muharram 1447 AH. The Authority provided comprehensive services to accommodate this record number of visitors.
The Grand Mosque in Makkah welcomed over 27.5 million worshippers. Furthermore, over 7.8 million pilgrims performed Umrah rituals. The Authority’s report highlights the successful management of a large number of visitors. This ensures a smooth and spiritual experience for all.
The Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah also saw a high number of visitors. More than 21.5 million people worshipped there. The Authority emphasized its commitment to high-quality services. This aligns with the leadership’s vision for serving the holy mosques.
This achievement underscores Saudi Arabia’s dedication to facilitating religious pilgrimages. The coordinated efforts of the Authority and other entities ensured the comfort and tranquility of all visitors. The government aims to continuously enhance services for pilgrims and worshippers.
