Singapore will host the Northeast India Festival on 20 and 21 September 2025 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. Organised in collaboration with the High Commission of India in Singapore and supported by state governments from the region, the event will celebrate the diverse cultural traditions of Northeast India.

On 20 September, audiences will enjoy a series of cultural performances featuring celebrated artistes such as Zubeen Garg, Six-Frets, The Errik Wong Band, Seyievinuo Chuzo, and Parmita Reang. The evening will also present a dazzling fashion show, where designers including Kinho by Iba Malai, Taba Anya (Womaniya), Choi by Serleen Ingtipi, and Tluangpui Hmar will highlight the rich textile traditions of the region. Another segment of the fashion showcase will feature Bom Eyo by Bompie Riram, Daniel Syiem, Lagstal Studio by Chimi Ongmu Bhutia, and Arbin Tonjam, who will bring contemporary flair to traditional styles.

The celebrations will continue on 21 September with a cultural evening headlined by Nokpante, alongside performances from Meba Ofilia and Borkung Hrangkhawl. The mix of music, dance, and traditional rhythms will give audiences a glimpse into the artistic diversity and energy of Northeast India.
The festival will form part of the broader India–Singapore@60 celebrations, marking six decades of diplomatic relations. By bringing together artists, designers, and performers, the event aims to serve as a cultural bridge between Singapore and the Northeast region of India, promoting greater understanding and appreciation of its unique heritage
