Under the leadership of Contingent Commander Col. Wilfredo C. Martin, Jr. INF (MNSA) PA, the Philippine team excelled during the first match of the competition on 22 November, securing Gold Medals in the Pistol Men and Women Individual Categories. The Carbine Team also dominated the individual events, sweeping Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals, a testament to their precision and discipline.

The contingent continued its remarkable performance in Team Match 1, earning an additional four Gold, six Silver, and six Bronze Medals. Their achievements reflect rigorous training, teamwork, and a steadfast commitment to excellence on the international stage.

The AARM, held annually from 18 to 28 November 2025, brings together armies from ASEAN countries to promote camaraderie, professional exchange, and friendly competition. Beyond medals, the event fosters stronger ties and mutual respect among neighbouring nations’ armed forces.

The Philippine Embassy applauded the team, declaring: “Big congratulations, Team Philippines!”
