
High-level meeting at Singapore’s Parliament House reaffirms Mongolia–Singapore commitment to strengthening parliamentary and bilateral cooperation
A Mongolian parliamentary delegation led by Mr. N. Naranbaatar, Chair of the Standing Committee on Budget of the State Great Khural of Mongolia, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Seah Kian Peng, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Singapore, on 2 February at the Parliament House of Singapore.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations between Mongolia and Singapore, as well as ongoing and potential cooperation between the two national parliaments. The discussion reflected a shared interest in enhancing mutual understanding through parliamentary engagement and dialogue.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening Mongolia–Singapore relations, particularly in key areas such as politics, economy, investment, and tourism. The meeting underscored the importance of sustained parliamentary cooperation in supporting broader bilateral ties and people-to-people exchanges.
The Mongolian delegation included H.E. S. Enkhbayar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Singapore; Members of Parliament Mr. J. Batjargal, Mr. D. Ganbat, and Mr. K. Jangabyl; as well as Mr. M. Bilguundemberel, Counsellor at the Embassy of Mongolia in Singapore.
From the Singaporean side, the meeting was attended by Members of Parliament Mr. Jackson Lam and Ms. Cassandra Lee, alongside Mr. Stephen Quick, Head of the Inter-Parliamentary Relations Department, and Ms. Crystal Chua, Manager of the Inter-Parliamentary Relations Department.
