The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Singapore, Mohammad Alghamdi, undertook a series of engagements with community leaders, business representatives, and diplomatic counterparts in Singapore. The meetings aimed to strengthen bilateral communication, enhance economic cooperation, and reinforce ties with key stakeholders.

As part of the Embassy’s outreach to community organisations, Ambassador Alghamdi met with Muhammad Azri Azman, President of the Muhammadiyah Association Singapore. The discussion focused on maintaining communication with community leaders and supporting initiatives related to social and community development.

The Ambassador also participated in the annual diplomatic reception hosted by the President of Singapore, where he engaged with Singaporean leadership and members of the diplomatic corps. The occasion provided an opportunity to exchange views on issues of mutual interest and further strengthen Saudi–Singapore relations.

In a separate engagement, Ambassador Alghamdi met with the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Singapore. Both sides exchanged views on regional developments and discussed areas of mutual interest, reflecting continued consultation and coordination between the two diplomatic missions.

The Ambassador also attended an iftar hosted by the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI), where he met with chamber officials and members of the business community. Discussions centred on strengthening engagement with Singapore’s business sector and exploring areas of economic cooperation.

In addition, Ambassador Alghamdi met with Shahzad Nassim, Singapore Co-Chair of the Saudi-Singapore Business Council, to discuss opportunities to enhance investment cooperation and expand business partnerships between Saudi Arabia and Singapore.

The engagements underscored the Embassy’s continued efforts to deepen cooperation with Singapore across community, economic, and diplomatic domains.
