Aquarabia Qiddiya City opens in April 2026, advancing Saudi Arabia’s tourism and entertainment ambitions
Qiddiya City announced the official opening of Aquarabia Qiddiya City on 23 April 2026, marking a major milestone in its development as a global destination for entertainment, sports, and culture. The project forms part of broader efforts under Saudi Vision 2030 to expand the Kingdom’s tourism and leisure sector.
Spanning over 250,000 square metres, Aquarabia is set to become the largest water theme park in the Middle East. The park features 22 rides and attractions, including four record-breaking experiences, as well as seven dry rides designed to broaden its entertainment offerings. The development is organised into eight themed zones inspired by Saudi Arabia’s natural landscapes and wildlife.
The park is designed to cater to a wide range of visitors, from high-adrenaline seekers to families. In addition to its attractions, Aquarabia offers 91 private cabanas, 24 food and beverage outlets, and seven retail stores, providing a comprehensive visitor experience.
Ticket pricing starts from SAR325 for adults and SAR200 for children aged 4 to 11, with free entry for children under four. Visitors booking at least five days in advance are eligible for a 15% discount. Additional premium options, including the AquaFast Pass and surfing experiences, are available within the park.
Aquarabia will operate daily from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with Fridays designated as a ladies-only day. The opening reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued investment in large-scale tourism infrastructure aimed at attracting both regional and international visitors.
The launch of Aquarabia represents a significant step in positioning Qiddiya City as a leading entertainment hub, with further developments expected to enhance its role in the Kingdom’s evolving tourism landscape.
