Indonesia and Singapore strengthen business ties through engagement with Singapore Business Federation
The Ambassador of Indonesia to Singapore held a courtesy call with Mr Teo Siong Seng, Chairman of the Singapore Business Federation, to reinforce bilateral economic cooperation. The meeting aimed to strengthen partnerships and explore mutually beneficial opportunities in trade and investment.
The discussion took place as part of ongoing efforts to deepen economic ties between the two countries, with a focus on enhancing private sector engagement. Both sides acknowledged the importance of strengthening collaboration between Indonesian stakeholders and Singapore’s business community.
Key areas of discussion included strategic projects in Indonesia, particularly in renewable energy, sustainable industrial zones, the digital economy, and infrastructure development. The Indonesian side highlighted opportunities for increased participation from Singaporean companies in supporting these priority sectors.
The engagement underscored the role of business communities in advancing bilateral relations and facilitating investment flows. It also reflected a shared commitment to fostering sustainable and innovation-driven economic growth.
Both parties expressed optimism that continued dialogue and collaboration would contribute to stronger economic linkages and expanded cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore.
