ENERGY FIRM EYES SOLAR, STORAGE AND WIND AS PART OF EUROPEAN GROWTH STRATEGY

Airengy has announced that it has signed initial agreements to examine a series of renewable energy acquisitions in Poland valued at approximately €51 million, as part of its strategy to expand its electricity generation and storage footprint in Europe.

The proposed transactions, signed on 21 April 2026, involve projects across solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and wind energy. If completed, the acquisitions would significantly enhance the company’s portfolio in Poland, bringing its total capacity to approximately 68 MW of solar energy, 8 MW of wind power, and around 100 MWh of standalone energy storage.

In the solar segment, Airengy has submitted a binding offer to acquire full ownership of project companies operating three sites—Wójtostwo, Sepienko and Kielczewo—with a combined installed capacity of approximately 34 MW. The estimated transaction value stands at €20 million, with commercial operations targeted for completion by October 2027.

In parallel, the company has entered into a non-binding memorandum to acquire eight standalone energy storage projects with a combined capacity of around 100 MWh. The indicative value of this segment is approximately €16 million, with grid connection timelines expected between late 2026 and the end of 2027.

Additionally, Airengy has signed a non-binding offer for the acquisition of an 8 MW wind project in Poland, valued at approximately €15 million. The company intends to integrate these assets to create a hybrid energy platform, combining renewable generation with storage capabilities to support grid stability and optimise energy output.

The transactions remain subject to further due diligence, regulatory approvals, and the signing of definitive agreements. Upon completion, the portfolio is expected to complement assets already acquired earlier in 2026, reinforcing Airengy’s position as an emerging player in Europe’s renewable energy sector.

Listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Airengy operates across the full energy value chain, including development, engineering, procurement and construction, as well as asset operation. The company is also advancing its proprietary Compressed Air Power Plant (CAPP) technology, aimed at delivering long-duration energy storage solutions.

Through its expansion in Poland and other European markets, Airengy seeks to contribute to the transition towards sustainable energy systems while supporting the reliability and resilience of electricity grids.
