On 18 April 2026, more than 500 guests gathered at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music for Nối Vòng Tay Lớn: An Evening of Love & Peace, a memorial concert commemorating 25 years since the passing of legendary Vietnamese composer Trịnh Công Sơn.

Co-organised by the Embassy of Vietnam in Singapore, the Trịnh Công Sơn family, Vietnam Brand Purpose, Stamford Global Leadership Center, and Silver Lion Enterprise Impact, the event became a deeply meaningful gathering for the Vietnamese community in Singapore and beyond.

The evening featured a distinguished line-up of performers, including vocalists Mỹ Linh, Đức Tuấn, Tấn Sơn, and Ce Ce Trương. They were joined by saxophonist Trần Mạnh Tuấn, the Vĩnh Tâm live band, and the Arabesque Vietnam, under the artistic direction of Tấn Lộc.

Through carefully curated performances, the programme revisited Trịnh Công Sơn’s timeless compositions with sensitivity and depth. Each piece invited the audience into moments of reflection, evoking themes of love, humanity, and peace that continue to resonate across generations.

Notably, this marked the first time the Trịnh Công Sơn family directly co-organised a memorial concert outside Vietnam, bringing his musical legacy closer to the global Vietnamese diaspora.

The concert also formed part of the Vietnam – Singapore Partnership for Growth week, commemorating one year since Vietnam and Singapore elevated their bilateral ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership—further underscoring the cultural and diplomatic significance of the evening.
