The FHA 2026 – Food & Beverage and Hospitality Exhibition brought together global industry leaders, innovators and culinary professionals for several days of knowledge sharing, competitions and networking at the Singapore Expo.

On the opening day, discussions across the FHA Main Stage, Sustainability Summit and FutureFWD conference tracks focused on the evolving role of technology and leadership in the food industry. Matthew Tan highlighted how artificial intelligence is reshaping global food trade by enabling faster and more resilient transactions, while Shane Giles encouraged chefs to adopt multidisciplinary thinking when designing modern menus. Meanwhile, Melvin Toh emphasised the importance of trust and cybersecurity in increasingly digital hospitality environments.

Day two shifted the spotlight to supply chains, sustainability and data-driven operations. Herman Teo of the Singapore Food Agency discussed the complexities of the global halal meat trade and the shared responsibility for food safety. Kelvin Ng of Green Bridge Partners demonstrated how generative AI can support waste reduction in the Asia-Pacific food ecosystem, while Suresh Kumar from Plaza Premium Group explored how data analytics is transforming non-commercial food services and enhancing guest experiences.

Beyond the conference stages, the exhibition floor featured 18 specialised segments spanning food technology, nutrition trends and circular F&B solutions. Competitions such as the Young Chefs Grand Prix and the FHA Dessert Challenge showcased rising culinary talent, drawing strong interest from industry professionals and visitors alike.

The event concluded with the finals of the culinary competitions and an awards ceremony celebrating emerging chefs and pastry talents. As one of the region’s largest food and hospitality gatherings, FHA 2026 reaffirmed its role as a key platform for innovation, collaboration and future-focused dialogue in the global F&B industry.
