
Licensing agreement between ST Engineering and Great Sky LLP supports technology transfer and local production capabilities in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan and Singapore have advanced their defense-industrial cooperation through the signing of a licensing agreement between ST Engineering and Great Sky LLP, a member of the Barys Dynamics holding group. The agreement was concluded as part of the ASPAN project, which aims to establish a full-cycle artillery ammunition production capability in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The agreement provided for the transfer of advanced technologies and the establishment of production facilities in Kazakhstan for key components required under the ASPAN project. The initiative formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen industrial capabilities and expand cooperation between the two countries in the defense sector.
The signing took place within the framework of bilateral engagement between Kazakhstan and Singapore, reflecting a shared commitment to industrial development and technological collaboration.
The agreement provides for the transfer of advanced technologies and the establishment of production facilities in Kazakhstan for key components required for the implementation of the project.
