The Saudi Tourism Authority officially launched its ‘Saudi Summer 2026’ programme, a nationwide initiative that covers five key destinations: Aseer, the Red Sea, Jeddah, Taif and Al-Baha. The programme operates under the Arabic slogan ‘صيفنا على كيفنا’, which translates to ‘Our Summer, Our Way’, and features activities designed for families, children and groups.

The announcement followed a workshop in Riyadh chaired by the Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Saudi Tourism Authority Ahmed Al-Khateeb, which brought together more than 140 partners from the public and private sectors. During the workshop, Minister Al-Khateeb emphasised that the meeting reflected the Ministry’s and the Authority’s commitment to building effective partnerships with the private sector. He noted that the success of the Saudi Summer 2026 programme depended on integrating efforts across the tourism ecosystem.

Mr. Fahd Hamiduddin, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of the Saudi Tourism Authority, affirmed that the Authority would hold the workshop annually. He stated that this regular gathering aimed to enhance cooperation with tourism partners and unify visions and efforts.

As part of the programme, the Saudi Tourism Authority also launched a dedicated ‘Saudi Summer Offers’ platform. The platform helps visitors find travel packages and holiday offers tailored to their preferences. The summer programme is scheduled to run throughout the season, showcasing the diversity of Saudi Arabia’s destinations, from the Red Sea coast to the mountain highlands of Aseer, Taif and Al-Baha.
