The Flying Monkey Supercars Club Thailand visited the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore as part of its Malaysia-Singapore driving tour, strengthening connections with Singapore’s supercar community and exploring opportunities for future lifestyle and driving tourism collaborations.
The Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore welcomed the Flying Monkey Supercars Club Thailand on 17 August 2026, highlighting the growing potential of automotive communities as a platform for lifestyle and experiential tourism. The delegation, comprising supercar enthusiasts from Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Waraphannee Damrongmanee, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, during its Malaysia-Singapore driving trip from 13 to 20 August 2026.

The visit was accompanied by Ms. Yatika Kaewborisoot, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office, who welcomed the group to Singapore. The driving tour provided an opportunity for the club to experience the region while connecting with fellow automotive enthusiasts and exploring new possibilities for cross-border tourism activities.

As part of the visit, the Flying Monkey Supercars Club Thailand met representatives of leading supercar communities in Singapore, including the Porsche Club, Ferrari Owners Club and Lamborghini Club. The gathering enabled participants to exchange experiences, establish new networks and discuss potential cooperation in organising joint driving tours and other automotive-focused tourism activities in the future.

The initiative demonstrates how shared passions and lifestyle interests can create new avenues for tourism cooperation between Thailand and Singapore. Driving tourism, in particular, offers an experiential way for visitors to discover destinations while connecting with local communities, businesses and fellow enthusiasts.

The gathering also reflects the potential of high-value tourism segments, particularly Lifestyle and Experiential Tourism, to strengthen people-to-people connections across borders. Through continued collaboration between tourism organisations and automotive communities, Thailand and Singapore can further develop distinctive travel experiences that combine motoring, culture, networking and regional exploration.
