The ministers discussed economic and financial cooperation on the sidelines of the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable.
India’s Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, met Singapore’s Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Finance, Jeffrey Siow, on the sidelines of the annual India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR) in Singapore.
The ministers discussed issues of mutual interest and ways to further strengthen economic and financial cooperation between India and Singapore.
Mr Siow highlighted India as a key market for Singapore companies, noting opportunities for cooperation at both national and state levels. The Singapore Minister said both sides would continue strengthening bilateral relations through the ISMR platform while working with companies to deepen investment and create new trade and travel opportunities.
