The Singapore edition of Experience Sabah 2.0: Explore, Connect, Thrive showcased Sabah’s rich cultural heritage, spectacular eco-tourism and distinctive culinary offerings while strengthening tourism ties between Malaysia and Singapore.
The vibrant attractions and diverse heritage of Sabah took centre stage in Singapore with the launch of Experience Sabah 2.0: Explore, Connect, Thrive (Singapore Edition 2026). The event brought together tourism and industry stakeholders to showcase Sabah as a destination where culture, nature, adventure and authentic local experiences come together.
The High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore was honoured to support the launch, with Her Excellency Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore, delivering the keynote speech during the grand opening ceremony. Her Excellency also presented certifications to valued industry partners, recognising their contributions to strengthening tourism cooperation and industry connections between Malaysia and Singapore.
The event was officially graced by Datuk Ewon Benedick, Sabah Deputy Chief Minister III and Minister of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport (MINDET), underscoring the importance of Sabah’s tourism sector in fostering greater economic and cultural engagement. Organised by STTOS and Unique, with the support of Tourism Malaysia and Sabah Tourism, the Singapore edition provided an important platform for Sabah’s tourism stakeholders to connect with Singaporean partners, industry players and visitors.
From its distinctive indigenous cultures and traditions to its breathtaking landscapes and thriving marine ecosystems, Sabah offers a wealth of experiences for travellers seeking both adventure and cultural discovery. The event also highlighted Sabah’s unique flavours, giving visitors an opportunity to discover the culinary traditions that form an integral part of the state’s identity.
More than a showcase of destinations, Experience Sabah 2.0 reflects the growing connections between Malaysia and Singapore through tourism, culture and industry collaboration.
