
Singapore’s Hungarian community commemorated Hungary’s National Day with a traditional bread-baking competition and a family gathering celebrating Hungarian heritage and traditions.
The Hungarian community in Singapore gathered on 22 August to celebrate Hungary’s National Day, which falls on 20 August, with activities centred on community and cultural traditions.
The celebration featured a traditional bread-baking competition alongside a family gathering. Consul Mr. Péter Horváth represented the Embassy of Hungary in Singapore at the event.

The gathering provided an opportunity for Hungarians living in Singapore to celebrate and preserve their shared heritage, culture and traditions while commemorating the national occasion.
