On 28 August 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore organised a volunteer public service activity at the Embassy premises to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and National Mother’s Day, observed on 12 August. The activity was led by H.E. Waraphannee Damrongmanee, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, and was attended by officials, staff and family members of the Royal Thai Embassy, as well as representatives from Team Thailand agencies in Singapore. Participants took part in planting vegetables and traditional herbs within the Embassy grounds, creating a practical learning space centred on Thai culinary and herbal traditions.

The initiative provided an opportunity for participants to learn about the benefits of traditional Thai herbs and their uses in Thai gastronomy.
