Ambassador Uyanga Ganbold of the Embassy of Mongolia in Singapore has met a licensed tour guide who has lived in Singapore for more than 20 years. The guide offers Mongolian-language support to visitors, from travel and schooling to healthcare.

Mongolia’s Ambassador to Singapore, Uyanga Ganbold, has received a Mongolian national who lives and works in the city-state as a licensed tour guide, Ms Sh. Pagmadulam. The meeting was shared by the Embassy of Mongolia in Singapore on Facebook.

Ms Pagmadulam has lived in Singapore for more than 20 years and is trained in hotel and tourism management. She guides Mongolian visitors in their own language. She also helps them visit schools and educational institutions, and arranges the information and organisational support they need to access medical services.

During the meeting, the Ambassador and Ms Pagmadulam exchanged views on what Mongolian travellers need, how they prepare for trips, and how easily they can find information about local services in Singapore.

The conversation comes as ties between the two countries continue to broaden. Mongolia and Singapore established diplomatic relations on 11 June 1970. Regular non-stop flights between Singapore and Ulaanbaatar began on 4 November 2025, according to published schedules. About 270 Mongolians are estimated to live in Singapore.

Ms Uyanga took over as Ambassador from S. Enkhbayar, who served from December 2021 to April 2026.
