The opening ceremony was broadcast live by the Princess Maha Chakri Award Foundation, enabling representatives from Royal Thai Embassies in ASEAN member states, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Mongolia to participate through an online system. The forum provided an opportunity for recipients of the 6th Princess Maha Chakri Award (2025) to share their teaching approaches, professional experiences and contributions to education in their respective countries.
The Princess Maha Chakri Award is an international distinction recognising teachers whose work has made a meaningful difference in their students’ lives and contributed to educational development in the region. The award highlights the role of educators in supporting students’ learning, personal development and potential.

During the forum, Madam Ang Sing Yee, Singapore’s award recipient, presented her pedagogical approach under the theme, “Believe in Each Child. Help Them Believe They Can.” Her presentation focused on encouraging students to recognise their individual potential and develop confidence in their abilities. She also highlighted the importance of resilience through the Resilience Learning Aid, which aims to help students understand their self-worth and overcome challenges.
The participation of the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore provided an opportunity for members of the Thai diplomatic community and Thai nationals in Singapore to follow the forum and recognise the achievements of educators participating in the award programme.

The opening ceremony also featured a musical performance by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who graciously performed musical instruments and songs alongside the Saiyai Jamchuri Band, the Chulalongkorn University International Band (CU Band) and network teachers of the Princess Maha Chakri Award Foundation.
The forum continued to provide an international platform for award-winning teachers from ASEAN countries, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Mongolia to exchange educational practices and share experiences in supporting students’ development.
