The 11-year-old prodigy from Uzbekistan has won the Olympiad “Mathematics without Borders – 2017”
1,200 schoolchildren from 11 countries of the world fought to win the International Olympiad in the town of Nessebar, Bulgaria.
The victory was secured in the end by Ubay Yakhyaev from Uzbekistan who was awarded a gold medal. The juvenile prodigy wields not only mathematical talents. He is fluent in Russian, English and French. The boy studies at the private school Erudite in Tashkent.
