The Philippine Embassy in Singapore supports National Voter’s Day, encouraging overseas Filipino workers to register for the 2025 National Elections.
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) En Banc has declared February 12, 2024, as the “National Voter’s Day” or “Pambansang Araw ng mga Botanteng Pilipino.” To support this initiative, the Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo Macaraig participated in the overseas voter registration exercise conducted by the Philippine Embassy. Ambassador Macaraig encourages all qualified Filipinos in Singapore to register as overseas voters to participate in the upcoming 2025 National Elections.
The Philippine Embassy reminds all qualified Filipinos in Singapore who are not yet registered overseas voters, who have been deactivated, or who need to correct their voter records to set an appointment at the earliest possible time or drop by the Overseas Registration counter during their visit to the Embassy for other services.
All citizens of the Philippines abroad, who are not otherwise disqualified by law, at least eighteen (18) years of age during the midterm elections on 12 May 2025 (born on or before 12 May 2007) are qualified to participate in the overseas voting activity.
