The embassy joins the nation in honoring Filipino creativity and imagination.

The Philippine Embassy in Singapore is commemorating the 2024 National Arts Month (NAM) in line with Presidential Proclamation No. 683. This year, NAM carries the theme “Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain” (Harvest of Arts, Creative Nation), emphasizing the role of imagination and creativity in Filipino culture. The theme highlights the belief that the abundance of creativity in the Philippines is a result of collective efforts rather than individual talents alone.

“Bayang Malikhain” (Creative Nation) represents a society that values innovation and artistic expression. It recognizes art as a vital component of the country’s identity and progress. This celebration underscores the importance of artistic endeavors in enriching the nation’s culture and contributing to its development. The embassy’s participation in NAM reflects its commitment to promoting Filipino arts and culture in Singapore and strengthening cultural ties between the two nations.
