The Philippine Embassy in Singapore hosts the “Pathways of the Heart” exhibition – featuring works by its own staff that encourage Filipinos to diversify their skills and remain competitive
ON Wednesday, 27 February 2024, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore welcomed Filipino community leaders, writers, journalists, and entrepreneurs for a special viewing of its art exhibition, “Pathways of the Heart.” It features paintings, photography, and digital art pieces created by the personnel of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore and their family members.
During the viewing, the Embassy emphasized the importance of Filipinos in Singapore continuously building their capacities and diversifying their skills to remain relevant and competitive. It encouraged attendees to “reinvent” themselves by stepping out of their comfort zones and developing new skills.
“Pathways of the Heart” was launched on 16th February 2024, with the attendance of Heads of Mission, Deputy Heads of Mission, and diplomats from various ASEAN and European Embassies in Singapore. The exhibit will conclude on 01 March 2024 but will continue to be available virtually.
The Embassy commended its guests for pursuing their passions alongside their day jobs, highlighting their courage and determination. It urged them to inspire other Filipinos in Singapore to do the same, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the community.
