The Singapore Garden Festival returns in August 2024, bringing together award-winning garden and floral designers from across the globe at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The Singapore Garden Festival (SGF), organized by the National Parks Board (NParks), is set to dazzle attendees once again with its ninth edition held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from August 3rd to 11th, 2024. This premier international garden and flower show will showcase the creative brilliance of leading garden and floral designers from around the world.
In anticipation of the main event, a Prelude at Takashimaya Square B2 from March 14th to 17th, 2024, marked the beginning of ticket sales on SISTIC. The Prelude featured the Floral Fiesta competition, inviting floral enthusiasts from Singapore to demonstrate their artistry in designing table arrangements. Judges for the event include Harijanto Setiawan, a renowned Singaporean floral designer, Australian master florist Mark Pampling, and Dr. Minsook Song from Korea.
Additionally, the Festival will host the SGF Master Series, starting with a Masterclass by Mark Pampling on March 16th, 2024, focusing on contemporary floral arrangements.
The main SGF event in August promises an array of attractions:
- Best of Show Fantasy and Landscape Gardens by international designers.
- Landscape Gardens emphasizing horticultural excellence.
- Fantasy Gardens offering whimsical designs.
- Floral Windows to the World Championship (FWWC) with vibrant displays by global floral designers.
- A Floral Table-Top Competition and Balcony Gardens Competition showcasing local talent.
- The Singapore Gardeners’ Cup encouraging community gardening.
- Educational showcases by various schools and organizations promoting gardening and floral art.
The SGF 2024 will not only be a celebration of gardening and floral artistry but also a community event fostering appreciation for nature and creativity.
