Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, provides insights on Thailand’s foreign policy to Singaporean junior diplomats and officials as part of the Civil Service Exchange Programme

MS. Busadee Santipitaks, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, shared Thailand’s foreign policy perspectives with junior diplomats and government officials from the Foreign Service Basic Programme of the Diplomatic Academy of Singapore during their visit to Thailand on 21st March 2024. This visit was part of the ongoing Thailand-Singapore Civil Service Exchange Programme (CSEP).

The delegates were welcomed by Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Director of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), and received a briefing on Thailand-Singapore bilateral relations. They also had the opportunity to tour the Ministry and engage in a networking session with Thai junior diplomats.

Since its inception in 2002, the CSEP has facilitated 15 exchanges between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and Singapore. The program aims to provide newly recruited diplomats with opportunities to exchange views and experiences in diplomacy and international affairs, fostering professional networks between the two countries.
