Professor Adam Knee, the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Media & Creative Industries shared with IN Diplomacy the ongoing Annual Graduation Showcase of Contemporary Arts 2024.
SINGAPORE, 23 May 2024 – Professor Adam Knee, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Media & Creative Industries at LASALLE College of the Arts, virtually met with Ms. Nomita Dhar, CEO of Sun Media. The discussion centred on collaborative opportunities and the annual graduation showcase of contemporary arts, design, and performance.
LASALLE College of the Arts, Asia’s leading contemporary arts and design institution and a founding member of the University of the Arts Singapore, boasts over 2,500 students from both national and international backgrounds. Currently, LASALLE is currently showcasing The Lasalle Show 2024, an annual graduation showcase of contemporary arts, design, and performance, running from 28 March to 29 May.
During the meeting, particular emphasis was placed on the MA Art Therapy programme, recognized globally for blending Eastern and Western methodologies to train culturally relevant and progressive art therapists.
Professor Adam also shared that the Lasalle College of the Arts is starting a new programme on music therapy. Currently, the school has international students from several countries, and IN Diplomacy will be keen to bring stories of these young ambassadors of their countries and the Lasalle College of the Arts.
