Indonesia’s President-Elect and Defence Minister Prabowo Subianto met with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, reinforcing strong bilateral relations and discussing key areas of cooperation.

Indonesia’s President-Elect and Defence Minister, Prabowo Subianto, is visiting Singapore to attend the 21st Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD). As part of his visit, Minister Prabowo met with Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at the Istana this morning.

During their meeting, Prime Minister Wong and Minister Prabowo reaffirmed the close bilateral and people-to-people relations between Singapore and Indonesia. They acknowledged significant progress in bilateral cooperation, particularly in renewable energy and sustainability. The leaders also exchanged views on various regional and international issues, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration and dialogue between the two nations.
