Thai Ambassador to Singapore, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, met with Thai community associations and extended financial support to further their cultural initiatives.
On July 18, 2024, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, the Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, welcomed representatives from the Association of Thai Students in Singapore, the Thai Dance Society, and the Friends of Thai Workers Association (Singapore) at the Ambassador’s Residence. The meeting aimed to recognize and appreciate the significant contributions these groups have made towards promoting Thai culture and supporting the Thai community in Singapore.
During the gathering, the Ambassador expressed gratitude for the efforts of these organizations, including the Thai Association in Singapore, in advancing cultural diplomacy and assisting the Embassy’s mission. The Embassy, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provided financial support to each association to bolster their activities and enhance community engagement.
This financial support follows a similar contribution made by the Royal Thai Embassy on July 13, 2024, to the Thai Association (Singapore). The earlier contribution also aimed to support the activities of the Thai community, reinforcing the Embassy’s commitment to fostering strong ties and cultural exchange.
