Representatives from 20 Singaporean companies will participate in the Mongolia-Singapore Business Forum, focusing on sectors like energy, real estate, and biotech
On August 12-13, 2024, business representatives from 20 Singaporean companies are scheduled to visit Mongolia for the Mongolia-Singapore Business Forum. The event, co-organized by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Singapore Business Federation, will be held in Ulaanbaatar.
During the forum, discussions will cover a range of topics, including energy and sustainable development, real estate, transportation and logistics, business services, consultative services and design management, health, medicine, and biotech, food manufacturing, financial services, furniture and interior design, construction planning, textiles and clothing, and soil regeneration.
The Singaporean delegates will meet with their Mongolian counterparts to explore cooperation opportunities and sign agreements. This forum marks the fourth business meeting between the two nations. Previously, Singapore facilitated workshops for Mongolian businesses, helping them access the Southeast Asian market. Companies in sectors such as wool, cashmere, medicine, and tourism have already entered Asian markets through these initiatives.
The “Business Entry Program – Singapore Incubator” has played a crucial role in assisting small and medium-sized enterprises from developing countries, including Mongolia, to enter international markets. Additionally, the “Access Asia” export acceleration program, implemented in collaboration with the Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE) and the National Information Technology Park of Mongolia (NITP), supports local entrepreneurs by leveraging the latest information technology advancements.
