Marwari Mitra Mandal celebrated Diwali with a vibrant gathering in Singapore, marking the significance of the Festival of Lights

Singapore, 29 October 2024 – Marwari Mitra Mandal (MMM) hosted its annual Diwali Ball in Singapore, gathering members of the Marwari community and friends for a joyous celebration of the Festival of Lights on 28 October 2024. Despite a demanding schedule, attendees enjoyed the lively event, which honoured both the spirit of Diwali and the rich cultural heritage of the Marwaris, an ethnic community originating from Rajasthan, India.

Founded in 2005, MMM has seen the Marwari community grow in Singapore, building strong bonds and expanding their presence in various sectors. Attendees witnessed lively conversations and shared stories that highlighted the close-knit nature of this community, where many have established families, businesses, and even actively participated in local service initiatives.

The event also celebrated the deeper meaning of Diwali, which symbolises the triumph of light over darkness and embodies the values of giving and inspiring positive change. MMM’s members have embraced these values, contributing to Singapore’s diverse society and strengthening ties with the local community.

Organisers thanked guests and supporters for their ongoing friendship and contributions, emphasising the community’s dedication to spreading joy and goodwill. In the spirit of Diwali, attendees left with renewed inspiration to illuminate lives and support one another in meaningful ways.
