The High Commissioner inaugurated the India Pavilion at the Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF) today. The event, held in Singapore on 3-6 December 2024, marked the largest-ever participation by the Indian entertainment industry at ATF, showcasing its growing global outreach and influence.

The Asia TV Forum and Market remains a prominent event for fostering business opportunities and content partnerships in the entertainment industry. India’s presence at this year’s ATF underscores its increasing role as a key player in the global entertainment landscape

The India Pavilion serves as a platform for promoting Indian audio-visual content and fostering collaboration with international stakeholders. During the inauguration, the High Commissioner highlighted India’s commitment to strengthening ties within the Media and Entertainment (M&E) sector. He also took the opportunity to invite participants to the upcoming World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in 2025.

WAVES, a flagship forum for the M&E industry, is designed to promote innovation, global trade, and collaboration among stakeholders. The summit is expected to bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the sector’s challenges and opportunities, influencing its future trajectory.
