The Africa’s Green Economy Summit 2025 took place from 19th to 21st February in Cape Town, providing a platform for industry professionals and organisations to connect, exchange insights, and mobilise investments in sustainable projects. The event showcased over 60 innovative projects aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and economic growth.

With the theme Building a Climate Resilient Africa: Catalysing Investment and Innovation in the Green and Blue Economies, the summit addressed critical topics such as climate finance, resilient cities, green industrialisation, and biodiversity conservation. The programme, developed in collaboration with a 35+ member Advisory Board, featured discussions on green supply chains and renewable energy.

Attendees engaged with expert speakers who shared knowledge on key areas including clean technologies, water infrastructure, waste management, and sustainable agriculture. The event highlighted the importance of investment and innovation in scaling up green reforms across Africa.

By fostering dialogue and collaboration, the summit played a vital role in advancing Africa’s transition towards a more sustainable and resilient economy.
