Elite athletes to compete at East Coast Park on 27 April, eyeing national titles and SEA Games selection.
Singapore is set to host the Singapore International Triathlon (SIT) 2025 on Sunday, 27 April, at East Coast Park’s Angsana Green. Organised by Triathlon Singapore in collaboration with event partner Orange Room, this year’s edition will feature the National Triathlon Championships, National Age Group Championships, and National Club Championships.
The event will also serve as a selection trial for Triathlon Singapore’s High Performance Programme (HPP) and the upcoming 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, scheduled for December 2025 in Thailand.
Athletes will compete across various categories, including Sprint, Standard, Super Sprint, and Kids distances, with individual and relay formats. The National Championships will be conducted in a draft-legal sprint format, attracting top elite athletes from the Southeast Asian region.
Triathlon Singapore has outlined eligibility criteria for participation in the National Championships, including age and performance benchmarks. The SIT 2025 is not only a platform for elite competition but also an opportunity for age-group athletes to qualify for the 2025 World Triathlon Age Group Championships.
The event underscores Singapore’s commitment to developing triathlon talent and providing pathways for athletes to compete at international levels.
