The Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI) recently hosted an engaging session with the Indian Women’s Association Singapore – Entrepreneur’s Wing. Held in Singapore, the event brought together 40 women entrepreneurs and highlighted the array of support services available through SICCI to help women grow and sustain their businesses.

The session began with a candid talk led by Ms Jamuna Rani, Executive Director of SICCI. Her informal and approachable style encouraged open dialogue, allowing participants to share their challenges and curiosities. Ms Rani addressed their questions and introduced the various ways SICCI supports business development.

Ms Deepa Suppiah followed with a presentation on the SME Centre@SICCI. She detailed the tailored support available for small and medium-sized enterprises, including business development strategies, market expansion, and financial advisory services. She emphasised the crucial role that Business Advisors at the centre play in offering personalised guidance to entrepreneurs.

The attendees responded with great enthusiasm, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to gain insights into SICCI’s services. Their positive feedback underscored the value of such collaborations in fostering a supportive ecosystem for women in business.
