The two-day summit on May 23–24, 2025, in New Delhi will promote investment in the North Eastern Region of India and connect investors with key stakeholders.

The Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025 is scheduled to take place on May 23–24, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, bringing together key policymakers, business leaders, and global investors to explore the vast investment potential of India’s North Eastern Region (NER).

Organized by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) in collaboration with FICCI, the summit will promote economic growth and partnerships across eight North Eastern states—Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.

A major highlight of the event will be the formal engagement of stakeholders in sectors such as agriculture, IT, energy, tourism, healthcare, education, textiles, and infrastructure. High-level discussions will include participation from Union Ministers, the Hon’ble Minister for DoNER Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, and Chief Ministers from the North Eastern states.

The summit comes on the heels of significant investments in the region, most notably the ₹27,000 crore Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility by the Tata Group in Jagiroad, Assam, the largest private investment in the region to date.

Attendees will also explore state-specific exhibits and startup showcases at a dedicated Exhibition Pavilion, featuring initiatives by central ministries and local entrepreneurs. Several G2B and B2B meetings are planned to encourage direct engagement and signing of MoUs.

Pre-summit roadshows have been held across seven major cities to promote the event and attract national and international investors. The summit emphasizes the Northeast’s strategic location near Southeast Asia, natural resource wealth, and growing infrastructure as key advantages for investment.

The summit aims to position the North East as a low-cost, high-potential investment zone, leveraging a skilled, English-speaking workforce, government incentives, and expanding connectivity.
