SEMICON Southeast Asia 2025 kicked off with great energy and participation, marking a successful start to one of the region’s most anticipated industry events. Held at Sands Expo, the event gathered top leaders, innovators, and professionals from across the global semiconductor ecosystem.

The day began with an engaging breakfast networking session, setting the stage for meaningful connections and discussions. The official opening ceremony was graced by Dr Tan See Leng, Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry, alongside Mr Ajit Manocha, President and CEO of SEMI, and Dr Tien Wu, CEO of ASE. Their presence underscored the strategic importance of the semiconductor sector to both regional economies and global innovation.

Following the ceremony, the CEO Summit delivered a series of forward-looking insights on industry trends, resilience, and future opportunities. At the Semiconductor HR Forum, leaders addressed workforce development challenges, talent retention, and skills transformation needed to sustain industry growth.
Throughout the day, the exhibition floor was a hub of activity, with numerous business deals and strategic partnerships taking shape. Attendees benefited from interactive showcases, product launches, and one-on-one engagements with industry experts.
