Led by MP Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha, the Indian delegation engaged with key Singaporean stakeholders to present India’s unified stance against terrorism
An All-Party Parliamentary Delegation from India, led by Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha, arrived in Singapore in May 2025 for a series of high-level engagements. The delegation’s visit aimed to communicate India’s national consensus and collective resolve in combating terrorism, following recent developments including the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor.

The delegation met with Singaporean Ministers, Members of Parliament, as well as representatives from think tanks, academia, business, media, and the Indian community. These engagements provided a platform to share India’s perspective on its evolving security policies and the “new normal” in its counterterrorism strategy.
The Indian High Commissioner to Singapore briefed the delegation upon arrival, setting the context for the visit and highlighting the importance of bilateral engagement on security matters. A key meeting took place with H.E. Ms Sim Ann, Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs, where the delegation discussed India’s strategic posture following the recent attacks.

Further discussions were held with senior representatives from various sectors in Singapore, where delegation members reiterated India’s firm stance on tackling terrorism. The delegation appreciated the participation of Senior Minister of State Dr Janil Puthucheary and Members of Parliament Mr Vikram Nair and Mr Saktiandi Supaat during these conversations.

These meetings reflect the continued collaboration between India and Singapore in addressing shared security challenges and strengthening bilateral relations across multiple sectors.
