On 1 June 2025, the Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) held its Let Her Shine! ShineSpire Conference 2025 at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event provided a vibrant platform for women from diverse backgrounds to connect, share perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversations centred on empowerment and leadership.

The conference featured 24 female thought leaders, four panel discussions, and six thematic talks, all designed to inspire and promote active participation among women in Singapore. A highlight was the keynote address by Guest-of-Honour Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and National Development, and President of SINDA, who also took part in a panel discussion.

Held in conjunction with Singapore’s SG60 celebrations, the conference carried the theme “Building Our Singapore Together.” It aligned closely with the nation’s goals to strengthen social cohesion and encourage civic engagement, particularly among Indian women in Singapore.

SINDA’s Let Her Shine! conference underscored the growing importance of women-led initiatives in shaping a more inclusive and participatory society, reaffirming the community’s commitment to progress and unity.
