Business leaders and officials meet in Singapore to deepen bilateral ties and explore strategic opportunities in digital innovation, food security, and defence.

Singapore, on 13 June 2025 – The Poland–Singapore Business Forum, held in conjunction with the State Visit of President Andrzej Duda to Singapore, brought together senior government officials, business leaders, and industry representatives from both countries to reinforce growing economic relations and explore new frontiers for cooperation.

Co-organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), the Forum opened with remarks from President Andrzej Duda and Minister Grace Fu, affirming the strong economic ties between Poland and Singapore and to explore new opportunities for collaboration in strategic sectors.

Participants engaged in in-depth roundtables focusing on three strategic areas:

  • Digital Innovation: Opportunities in AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies were explored, leveraging Poland’s deep talent pool and the newly signed Singapore-EU Digital Trade Agreement.
  • Food Security: With nearly 60 Polish food producers accredited in Singapore, discussions focused on mutual supply chain resilience and Poland’s potential as a food hub for Asia and Europe.
  • Defence & Dual-Use Technologies: Dialogue centred on collaboration in R&D and commercialisation of security technologies.

The Forum concluded with a shared commitment to intensify bilateral trade and investment, with both sides looking forward to continued collaboration—including at the inaugural Europe Conference in mid-October 2025.
