Uzbek products and cultural heritage attract strong interest at Lanzhou’s major international trade event.

The 31st China Investment and Trade Fair recently took place in Lanzhou, Gansu province, gathering over 4,000 enterprises and around 40,000 participants from 28 provinces across China and 50 countries worldwide.

Among the diverse exhibitors, Uzbekistan presented an impressive display of its handicraft products, including silk, ceramics, carpets, textiles, and folk and applied arts that reflect the country’s vibrant export and tourism potential. Informative materials were also provided in Chinese to help local visitors learn more about Uzbekistan’s offerings.

The fair generated notable interest from foreign entrepreneurs keen on exploring cooperation opportunities with Uzbekistan’s growing export sector. The country’s presence at the fair is part of broader efforts to promote its rich history and cultural heritage to Chinese regions while expanding the reach of Uzbek goods in China’s competitive market.

Uzbekistan’s participation at such international events continues to strengthen trade ties and boost its visibility as an emerging player in the global export and tourism landscape.
