This August, Singapore’s dining scene will witness a heartfelt culinary reunion as Waku Ghin hosts an exclusive four-hands collaboration between Chef Tetsuya Wakuda and Chef Sun Kim of two-Michelin-starred Meta. Taking place on 1 August 2025 at Waku Ghin, Marina Bay Sands, this special dinner marks the first time the two chefs are cooking side by side since Chef Sun’s early days training under Chef Tetsuya at the renowned Tetsuya’s in Sydney.
Chef Sun Kim of Meta is celebrated for his elegant and heartfelt interpretation of contemporary Korean fare, showcasing both emotion and technical finesse. Meanwhile, Waku Ghin — the renowned restaurant at Marina Bay Sands helmed by Chef Tetsuya Wakuda — is revered as a haven of meticulous technique, seasonal perfection, and understated luxury.
