Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore EDB met with the US-ASEAN Business Council to strengthen cooperation on innovation, sustainability, and regional growth.
On 17 July 2025, Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) welcomed the US-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC)’s Singapore Business Mission. The mission was co-led by Ambassador Brian McFeeters, Interim President and CEO of USABC, alongside Matis Pellerin, Chair of US-ABC’s Singapore Committee and Vice President of Global Government Affairs at Oracle.

The dialogue focused on key opportunities for US companies operating in Southeast Asia’s dynamic markets. Topics included leveraging regional economic frameworks such as the Johor–Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) to enable cross-border investment, strengthening Singapore’s role as a digital innovation and artificial intelligence hub, and advancing long-term transformation through sustainability, clean energy, and emerging technologies.
Despite ongoing global uncertainties, the commitment of US companies to Singapore and the wider ASEAN region remains strong. The meeting reinforced Singapore’s position as a trusted node for innovation, investment, and talent — and as a steadfast partner for global businesses navigating a rapidly changing landscape.
