
Kingdom’s leadership endorses numerous agreements advancing international cooperation and development goals.
NEOM, Saudi Arabia — His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired a Cabinet session in NEOM on 12 August. The meeting focused on reviewing diplomatic advancements and national development strategies. The Cabinet approved several significant international agreements to bolster foreign relations.
The Cabinet endorsed a memorandum of understanding to establish a strategic partnership council with Singapore. This initiative is aimed at fostering stronger economic cooperation and investment between the two nations. The agreement highlights Saudi Arabia’s commitment to building robust partnerships in Southeast Asia.
Further agreements were also ratified to expand the Kingdom’s international cooperation. A memorandum of understanding for social development was approved with Malaysia, and a trade relations pact was endorsed with Cambodia. An agreement concerning environmental protection was also signed with Morocco.
The Cabinet reviewed progress on national strategies and programs. It commended the advancements made by government agencies in the 2025 Digital Experience Maturity Index. The government reaffirmed its dedication to improving public services and enhancing the Kingdom’s standing in global indicators.
