
Minister for Defence Chan Chun Sing hosted an appreciation function to recognise organisations, sponsors, and contributors who made this year’s National Day Parade a success.
Minister for Defence Chan Chun Sing today hosted a reception to thank the participating organisations, sponsors, and key appointment holders of the National Day Parade (NDP) 2025 Executive Committee. The NDP Appreciation Function took place at Surbana Jurong Campus, where contributors were recognised for their support and commitment.
A total of 148 Principal Partners, 31 Gold Award recipients, 84 Major Partners, and 316 Co-partners were honoured during the event. Minister Chan presented awards to the Gold Award recipients and Principal Partners, while Chief of Defence Force Vice Admiral Aaron Beng presented awards to the Major Partners and Co-partners.
In his speech, Mr Chan highlighted the enduring significance of the NDP, noting that it both honours Singapore’s past and envisions its future. He emphasised the unity and resilience of Singaporeans, saying that the parade reflects the spirit of diverse communities coming together to achieve extraordinary outcomes.

The theme for NDP 2025, Majulah Singapura (Onward Singapore), marked the nation’s progress over the past 60 years while rallying citizens to look ahead to the next six decades and beyond. Minister Chan also expressed gratitude to the NDP 2025 Executive Committee, participating organisations, and sponsors for their collective contributions to the event’s success.
He further announced that NDP 2026 will be held at the Singapore Sports Hub and invited Singaporeans to contribute new ideas to ensure SG61 is a meaningful and memorable celebration.
