High Commissioner Charlotte Lobe speaks to UbuntuRadioZA about the Deputy Minister’s participation in the Africa-Singapore Business Forum and Ministerial Exchange Visit.
South African High Commissioner to Singapore, Her Excellency Madiepetsane Charlotte Lobe, spoke to UbuntuRadioZA about International Relations and Cooperation Deputy Minister Thandi Moraka’s visit to Singapore on 25 August 2025.
The Deputy Minister is attending the 5th Singapore-Africa Ministerial Exchange Visit and the 8th Africa-Singapore Business Forum.
“This morning, we have welcomed the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation to Singapore for the Africa-Singapore Business Forum as well as the Sub-Sahara Africa Ministers Exchange Programme,” said High Commissioner Lobe.
“Every two years, Singapore convenes these two distinct but interrelated platforms where we share experiences with our Singapore counterparts on development issues. We discuss contemporary issues within our geopolitical landscape. We also look at how we can use innovative ways to build future economies, to prepare future manpower, but also to prepare the future economy that can grow our countries and take our countries a step further,” she added.
