TARIF, Saudi Arabia — King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve is emerging as a premier natural and historical sanctuary. The reserve’s development authority aims to establish it as a leading ecotourism destination. This initiative seeks to integrate environmental conservation with sustainable economic growth for local communities.
The vast reserve spans four administrative regions across the Kingdom. It is a mosaic of mountains, valleys, and expansive desert landscapes. The area is distinguished by its pristine environment and significant biodiversity.

The reserve is a home to a wide array of wildlife and plant species. It also contains important archaeological sites, with relics dating back to 8,000 BC. These sites provide valuable insights into early human history and cultural heritage.
