The Philippine Embassy in Singapore featured Filipino cuisine, crafts, and performances at the Around the World Golf & Gourmet Adventure on 30 August 2025
The Philippine Embassy in Singapore participated in the Around the World Golf & Gourmet Adventure hosted by the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) on 30 August 2025. The signature annual event celebrates global cultures through culinary experiences and premium golfing activities, and is exclusively open to SICC members and their guests.
The Embassy highlighted Filipino culture through a collaborative showcase with food, performance, craft, and travel partners. Foodtrek partners Second Serving offered classic Filipino street snacks such as taho and fishballs, while Lechon Republic Singapore drew attention with its signature roasted lechon, a staple of Philippine cuisine.

Cultural entrepreneurship was also on display, with Maison Inabel, Filshopper, My Fair Artisan, and Holiday Girls presenting handwoven fabrics, Barong Tagalog, artisanal crafts, and accessories designed by Filipina artist Farah Abu. The presentation underscored the Philippines’ enduring traditions in weaving and craftsmanship.
The tourism sector was represented by Philippine Airlines, The Farm at San Benito (in partnership with Mount Malarayat Golf & Country Club), as well as Quest Plus Clark and Mimosa Plus Golf Course, promoting the Philippines as a destination for wellness and golf tourism.
Adding vibrancy to the evening, the Filipino Dance Club Singapore performed a dynamic number blending traditional dances such as Tinikling, Cariñosa, and Pamaypay with contemporary music, embodying the spirit of Filipino fiestas and gatherings.
