
Prosecutor General of Mongolia attends the 30th International Association of Prosecutors General Conference in Singapore and signs a bilateral MoU.
SINGAPORE, 10 SEPTEMBER 2025 – A delegation from Mongolia, led by Prosecutor General B. Jargalsaikhan, participated in the 30th General Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP), held in the Republic of Singapore from 7 to 10 September 2025. The gathering brought together senior prosecutors from around the world to exchange expertise and strengthen collaboration in upholding justice and the rule of law.
On 8 September, Prosecutor General Jargalsaikhan held a bilateral meeting with Singapore’s Attorney-General, Mr Lucien Wong. During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to enhance institutional collaboration, particularly in areas such as professional training, legal cooperation, and information exchange.
The highlight of the engagement was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Office of the Prosecutor General of Mongolia and the Attorney-General’s Chambers of Singapore. The agreement aims to expand and develop cooperation between the prosecutorial bodies of both nations, strengthening their shared commitment to judicial integrity and effective law enforcement.
The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Enkhbayar Sosorbaram, Ambassador of Mongolia to Singapore, who underscored the importance of the MoU in advancing bilateral relations. The agreement marks a significant milestone in Mongolia–Singapore cooperation in legal affairs and reflects a mutual dedication to enhancing regional and international justice frameworks.
